By accessing or using LizPlants ("the Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these terms, please do not use the Service.

2. Description of Service

LizPlants is a garden planning tool that allows users to scan seed packets, generate personalized planting timelines, and manage gardens based on USDA growing zones and local frost dates. The Service is available via web and mobile applications.

3. Accounts

You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activity that occurs under your account. You must provide accurate information when creating an account and promptly update it if anything changes.

4. Free and Paid Plans

LizPlants offers a free tier with limited features and paid Pro plans with additional capabilities. Paid subscriptions are billed through Stripe. You may cancel your subscription at any time through your account settings. Refunds are handled on a case-by-case basis.

5. Acceptable Use

You agree not to misuse the Service, including but not limited to: attempting to gain unauthorized access, interfering with other users, uploading malicious content, or using the Service for any unlawful purpose.

6. Intellectual Property

All content, design, and code comprising the Service are owned by LizPlants. You retain ownership of any content you upload (such as seed packet photos). By uploading content, you grant LizPlants a limited license to process it for the purpose of providing the Service.

7. Disclaimers

The Service is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. Planting recommendations are based on historical climate data and seed packet information and are provided for informational purposes only. LizPlants is not responsible for crop outcomes, and you should use your own judgment when making gardening decisions.

8. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, LizPlants shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of the Service.

9. Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. If we make material changes, we will notify you via email or through the Service. Continued use of the Service after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
